Hunters Glen’s Hospital Happenings – Our patients!

Every day the staff at Hunters Glen are blessed to spend our days doing what we all love – helping patients! This page gives you a behind-the-scenes look at our practice.

For more hilariously adorable photos of patients, like our Facebook page.
A special thank you to all of our wonderful clients willing to let us share cute photos and stories of their pets!

Bennet!

I’m convinced that Bennet the baby pug came in for all of the cuddles and attention he got while he was here. I mean, do you blame us for not being able to choose just one picture? Look at that face!

Pupcake!

Pupcake came in for a pedicure today and entertained us while she was here. Thanks Pupcake!

Lila and Lulu Adventure Time!

Lulu: “What are you doing Lila?”
Lila: “I think I can chew through the bars and get to that sack of treats over there.”

Axl and Diana!

Axl made sure to get some cuddles from Diana before it was time to return to mom. As you can see, Axl excels at cuddles.

Biscuit!

“My name is Biscuit. I have a reservation for boarding until Monday. Confirmation code XQ5JOANZNIK.”

Daisy Cakes!

This unadulterated happiness-in-a-collar is Daisy Cakes. She comes in routinely for her B12 injections and cold laser therapy, and she loves the staff and other patients at Hunters Glen. She really is a little bundle of joy.

Fayth!

Our new groomer, Fayth, on her first day!

Thank you!

Veterinary medicine is a collaborative practice. We work closely with our patients’ owners to diagnose, treat, and heal our patients. We’re incredibly thankful to our amazing clients, and every once in a while a client shows us that reciprocated trust and gratitude. This was a wonderful surprise and made our day.

Kricket and Dr. Carley!

Kricket had her first puppy exam and vaccines last week with Dr. Carley!
For those who remember, Kricket was born with a cleft palate which makes it difficult for her to eat. Fortunately her owner has taken diligent care of Kricket, and she is finally old and big enough to start her regular puppy shots.
Keep on keepin’ on, Kricket!

Sophia Diamond!

Unlike dogs and their numerous and distinct breeds, most cats are simply described by their coat length (domestic short hair, for example). This beauty is one exception. This is Sophia Diamond, a particularly gorgeous Maine Coon.

Willy!

You know that feeling when you’ve been a stray your entire life, then a human finds you, scoops you up and gets you all the medical care you need, AND adopts you into the family?
We’re glad your humans found you, Willy!

Thank you!

We have been overwhelmed by the sweets, treats, cards, letters, and well-wishes from our amazing clients. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
From our family to yours, have a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year.

Eowyn Carley!

Many of our clients have been with us for years, and many of you remember Carol, the previous office manager and all around Hunters Glen doyen. We are often asked how she’s doing and what she’s up to. Hunters Glen friends, meet Eowyn! She’s the newest edition to Carol’s family, and her older Corgi sister, Ruby, approves with two paws up! Named after a Tolkien character, Eowyn, Ruby, and Carol are traveling in Carol’s “tiny house” and loving life.

Tucker!

Tucker the kitten came in today for his first kitten visit with Dr. Carley. He was obviously more interested in getting cuddles from Crystal than having an exam done. He was an A+ patient!

Cats!

About 75% of our patients are dogs, but today is definitely caturday at Hunters Glen! We have Maui and his sister Cozette, Chabacano, and Missy, all pictured, and we have Mr. B not pictured. We love having these schmittens here!

Jack!

We’re pretty sure this is a polar bear disguising himself as a tiny dog. But that’s okay, Jack. We don’t normally see polar bears, but you’re just so cute!

Duffy!

Duffy came in today for grooming and is leaving looking quite fabulous! Look at those paws!

Bailey!

Bailey is one of the best cats there are. Darling cat with the personality of a dog.

Ariel!

It’s Friday, y’all! We think Ariel is as excited as we are!

Lawrence!

Other than being perfectly behaved and incredibly sweet, one thing we particularly love about Lawrence, this adorable Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, is that he’s almost 4 but still looks like a puppy. Isn’t he too cute?
