Hunters Glen Veterinary Hospital Policies

There are a few policies that help our staff provide the very best care possible. Some of these policies are for patient, client, and staff safety, while others aid in hospital efficiency and efficacy. If you have any questions or concerns about our hospital policies, please feel free to Contact Us.

Appointment Policies

To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate primarily by appointment. Emergency cases will always receive top priority. We make a sincere attempt to see each client on time, but sometimes delays are inevitable – we appreciate your understanding in this matter.

For your convenience, ‘drop-off’ appointments are available. For a drop off appointment, you should bring your pet to the clinic between 7:00AM – 8:30AM and leave him/her with us. This allows our doctors to examine and perform diagnostics on the patient as time allows in between appointments or surgeries. Once the doctor is done, they will call you and discuss in detail any findings and possible recommendations further treatment.

You can request an appointment here.

Patient Arrival Policy

For the safety of all animals in our care, we require that vaccinations be up to date.

For your protection and that of others, all dogs must be on a leash and properly controlled while in the waiting area or exam rooms. All cats must be presented in an appropriate cat carrier or on a leash. These measures help ensure the safety of your pet.

Grooming Policy

To allow our groomer to have ample time for each of her scheduled grooms, we request that grooming patients be dropped off between 7:00AM and 8:00AM.

Payment Policy

We require full payment at the time that services are rendered. For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, cash, and local personal checks.
